Sometimes 2 heads...WARNING! Graphic pic

aren't better than one!

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been MIA lately but it has been crazy busy around here with everything going on. My first clutches have started to hatch and no real surprises yet. I did produce a couple of Cinny Albinos though and I will post pics of them when they have had a few meals in them.

One of my clutches was a cinny het albino X albino and all the eggs had hatched except for one. I finally when digging and found this little guy. He was dead in the egg but still really developed. I'm not sure if he would have survived had I gone in sooner but as you can see he is really deformed.

Thought you might find it interesting!

Good luck to everyone this year with your projects and I hope you hatch out some crackers!

Markus

Poor guy. That's a shame. I hope the rest are healthy and you have an awesome rest of the year.

I would do one of two things...

A: Preserve the little guy in a jar...
or
B: Put him on an anthill and mount the skeleton.

That's just me.

It's too bad he didn't make it. Could have been cool...and worth quite a bit.

I second this. Call it macabre, but the skeleton in particular would be fascinating. Grab some dermestid beetles to clean it off, maybe set it in the window to bleach, then assemble and mount it with some wires. Would be pretty awesome.

Gosh, poor little thing. Very interesting though as you said. I just love the Cinny or Black Pastel Albinos because of the great pattern. If I dont buy some I am going to have to make my own Albino Cinnies in the next 2 years. Thanks for sharing with us. Jay from Sunny AZ
