Eggs from Harlequin type female

EmberBall Jun 06, 2010 01:20 PM

Lame pics, I know. Can you guess how many eggs? She is about 1800 grams. I bred her to a Pastel YB male, so, hoping to get some interesting babies.

I vote 8 too. Females can cover and disguise lots of eggs!

EmberBall Jun 07, 2010 06:39 PM

6

That is right, six good eggs, no slugs. For this year, this is a great clutch, I have already have triple the slugs this year than the past 5 or 6 combined!

Thanks for playing...

Dave

LOL..6, you sure got me on that one but I am glad to hear you had no slugs in it.. Did you move or do anything different this year or have you bred the females several years in a row? The reason I ask is because my friend Josh Hutto moved in Dec or Jan this year while breeding was going on and he has had like 4 or 5 full clutches of slugs. I hate it for him to say the least. I have been very fortunate I guess, 47 good eggs out of 50 so far this year. One slug and two that went bad within a week of being laid. Jay.ps thanks for telling us it was 6, the suspense was killing me..lol.
