Wanted to get the king in this one but the girlfriend disapproved. In retrospect I think maybe she was right, could've gotten ugly.

Yeah , I know, I was really just messin' w/ the girlfriend...but if you only knew how annoying this incredibly spoiled bird can get it might have crossed your mind to(LOL).

I know what you mean. I used to occasionally run accross some remarkably yellow specs. I remember seeing one in a pet store in Iowa years ago that had yellow like this desert, but on every scale. I got a pic of one in a book I'll have to dig out. Wish I could find a speckled like that, most stunning kings out there in my opinion.
