Boa shedding near end of gestation

tsusnakeguy Jun 06, 2010 11:11 PM

I have a redtail that I bred back in March or so. I don't really remember when she shed back then but I know she has to be getting close. She has gotten huge and started to lay on her side a little. But the wierd thing is she is going into shed mode. Has anyone else had a female shed at the end of her gestation as appose to the beggining like everyone says they should? I was just curious.

We have a female reverse stripe that just shed on June 4th and should be dropping anyday. We have asked a couple people this and have heard different opinions. One guy said about half the time he sees a shed before birth, the others did not notice them shedding before babies.
