Patternless Holdbacks

maizeysdad Jun 08, 2010 06:11 AM

I've selected my hold-backs from the recent litter with the patternless boas in it. I'll be keeping all 15. I have to prove out this mutation and see where we go from there.

If this a simple recessive gene, like I suspect, it will allow us all to make some amazing animals down the road.

I plan to do a monthly update, including pics, to keep everyone posted on their development and health. I'll also be creating a history of the project at my website, mainelyboas.com.

Thank you all for the well wishes and great advice. A special thank you to Jeff Ronne for level-headed, unselfish sharing of knowledge and experience.

Let the adventure commence!

Not sure if you are interested but we have a lot of info that you could use for your project page. Brendan told us to go ahead and show you pics of the two that produced his patternless. We are more than happy to shed some a little bit of what we have learned about these as well as lots of pics. Let us know.
