These hondos were hatched within roughly 2 weeks of each other, 9/26 and 10/12 of 09. They were hatched by the same breeder, and I purchased them at the same time -- the end of December, 09. At that time they were essentially identical in size.
The albino has refused a few meals since December, but has basically been a good eater and at the last two feedings ate both a fuzzy and a pinky.
The hypo NEVER ate on its own between December and May. It had eaten live pinks before shipping, but I feed only f/t. Between December and May I tried everything (as folks here may remember), and did manage to force feed a few pink heads. This snake FINALLY started eating on its own on 5/4, and has voluntarily eaten 4 pinks since then. (Unfortunately, now that this snake has started eating, he has also started biting me every time I pick him up. At least his teeth are still tiny!)
And this is what happens when you refuse to eat! The hypo has shed ONCE since I got him, while the albino has shed FOUR times....
