Ok, let me start off by saying I hate cricket chirping. I cannot stand it. I tried to just sleep with it but I cant. I focus on it and it just drives me nuts. My tokays are generally pretty good at catching these things before they make noise but there is 1 problem. I recently purchased a large cork bark tree thing (expensive as hell) and it has many many little holes in it. Cricket goes in and chirps......and chirps......and chirps....AND DOESNT GET EATEN. This is very very bad. I got the log and I took that [bleep] outside and siliconed all the holes shut. Stuffed bark in there to make it look natural too....only problem is it stinks BAD. It has been out there for like 4 days and I can still smell it when I get close (where my tokays will be). It is starting to go away and is very faint now. I was just gonna ask if anyone has experience with this and would tell me whether the fumes are toxic at all....Sorry about the long post but I had to get the steam out....
