Hypo Leopard

CoreyWoods Jun 08, 2010 08:09 PM

Well, I produced my first Hypo Leopard today.....and He's a BOY!

I purchased 1.2 Hypo Het Leopards from Sean at EBN back in 2007. This was the first year that I bred the females and both were bred to a Leopard male from Jeremy Stone. Both females are gravid, however, the one that had the litter today was the smaller of the 2. I seriously thought this female was going to slug out as she wasn't that big. The sister to the mother is huge! At any rate 20 healthy babies were born.

Unfortunately, I seem to have gotten hooped on the odds and produced 1.0 Hypo Leopard, 6 Hypo het leopards and 13 het leopards. Only one leopard???? At least I have healthy babies from a female I thought was going to slug out.

The Hypo's

What a looker!

Some of the Hypo Het Leopards

The 13 Het Leopards. 7 in one bin and 6 in another.

Thanks for looking. Hopefully the other female gives me a good litter and I'll have more Hypo Leopards to pair up with this guy!

Corey
