This litter had some variations in it. I think they should have cooked another week. It's truely funny though how things work though. I've heard some say the best always die. I would say my favorite of the litter has the biggest yolk sac hangin out. The ugliest baby happens to be the only one that's almost fully developed and cruising around.Anyway check out my photo bucket.Being so premature looking their color hasn't really developed. From what I have read I tie floss around the umbilical cord and remove the yolk after 24 hours. Keep them all housed in one tub at 88 to 89 degrees and wish for the best right?

sounds like you are on the right track. you will notice a big reduction in the size of the yolk sack after 24 hours. I've had some be the size of a 50 cent piece when they are born and down to a penny the next day. Make sure you put them on paper towels or newspaper that is damp to the touch. this will help prevent the cords from becoming stuck to something and getting torn off. That can cause bleeding. I've never had one bleed to death but why take the chance. I keep mine together till their first sheds. They just seem comfortable in one big mass. It looks cool tooo!
