Short update

I switched out tubs for the third time because of blood and umbilical leftovers making the paper towels nasty. I took each one to the sink this time and rinsed em off as best I could. Getting the water just luke warm and being as gentle as I could with them. The little reverse stripe that seemed so weak has really come around since I rinsed it. Enough so that it was cruising the rubber maid trying to get out. I opened the lid to use my little stick temp gauge, little black gauge about 3 inches long and the sucker struck at it! Man am I proud I love my little runt he's got some fire in him!

Side note....I bought rat pinks in advance thinking that they'd be able to start with those(ok I plan some times) I have a feeling I'll have to start with smaller prey.....

try the rat pinks. I even get all of my CA babies to start with rat pinks and they are pretty small. Make sure they are young pinks though. older pinky rats can be big sometimes.
