cars cars cars......snakes ,turtles and everything else....ponds polluted and dried up no frogs ,plus the diseases killing them and all....and cars....

......every turtle that walked across a road in the last few decades was either run over or picked up by some kid or fool who thought they were doing good by bring them to their little fenced in back yard and putting them in there....(jail)....

....anyways...lots of reasons.....I always vote cars as number one.....

yea.....forgot that actually.......they do it here also....GOTTA kill it...it's evil and will kill you...they always ask if I get bit and do I go to hospital...?....

I don't take turtles home. I just take them to the otherside of the road if I have time and if they look like they may get hit. I do the same with snakes. I was actually trying to get a timber rattler across the road last spring and this ignorant [bleep] went around me and went slow enough so she could poke her head out of the window and make sure she ran over its head. OMFG I got so freaking heated about that. I wanted to chase her ass down and give her a curby so she knew what the snake went through. Stupid people in the south think think this, imagine in a deep southern accent: “Oh my gawd, it's a snake, keel it! It's the devil. Chawp it's ead off with at shovel o'er dere. Naw I got some'in for its ace. Go get da shotgun Billy I blow dat mu-f'ers ead of hehe.” That's probably accurate. Even some guys down here scream like 5 year old girls if there's one in the house. It's a shame. Hey, idiots, those snakes take care of your rodent infestations.

Just last week my neighbor told me that he killed a snake in his yard..So i asked him what color it was..Black and white he says..So i tell him that that it was probably a Kingsnake,and that it will no longer be eating rodents,or baby Copperheads,etc,for that matter..To which he replies "Nope,sure ain't!"

So i asked him if it had chain pattern in white...No he says,it was in rings(banded).That's when i told him about Eastern Chain Kings being a protected species,and that most likely he had just slaughtered an endangered animal!...You all can probably imagine the ignorant rant that he spewed at that point.

I can breed hundreds of mice a week here and do...I can make them all wild brown in a few months...same with rats....

guess who's yard I would be letting them go into?

I don't have neighbors like that only due to the fact that I have no snakes in my yard....

....the one 3 blocks away in the cellar got the cops to catch it...they brought it here....I fed it well then left it go a couple blocks over where I work...back in the back....along with a mate for it...LOL....(caught a few blocks the other way)...

....snakes.....not enough of them anywhere now....

Oh, it only made it worse when I found out that the lady was the mother of one of the girls my twin daughters go to school with. That timber rattler was beautiful. It was around 3' long and looked like it had shed not to long before she ran over it. Some dogs came and drug it jut of the road and ate it. I was hopping that they would get punctured by one of the teeth and get envenomated. I see people run snakes over all the time and want to call them in, but nothing would be done to them except for a slap on the wrist down here in TN. Just because its a snake, people are affraid of them and they're ignorant. Even if it were endangered I don't think it would matter.
