....you want to know how far you can s t r e t c h a male out?
....1 to 3...?......
theoretically you could do 1 male and 20 females...you breed them for months.......so it wouldn't kill him....
....I have males with 1 girlfriend and some with 6 let's say...but I might use multiple males of the same colors.........

I like 1 to 3 myself, the male isn't worked to hard and all the girls get enough attention over the breeding season.

I never push my males but my breeding season is stretched out farther than most.. I had 5 males for 25 females..... no sluggs yet, knock on wood!
If I had more years or cash under my belt I would prefer 1.3 and if you can't palpate folicles yet id say go 1.1...
