Very excited about this clutch (my 2nd ever clutch of corns). Bought this pair from Amanda last year (Thanks again Amanda if you read this!!).

Mom "Lucy" is an Anery Lavender originally hatched by SerpenCo. Dad "Tumnus" is a Blizzard het Diffused possible het Anery and Lavender originally hatched by VMSherp.

Fingers crossed he proves out het Lavender as that is my fav morph and then he'd also be a great future mate for my Diffused Lavender female "Victoria".

Lucy spent the last week in her nest box, then ended up clearing away all the moss from under the nest box and laid her clutch there instead of in it. Caught her in the act of laying this morning, snapped a couple pics and a short video of her laying one egg, then left her alone to finish up.

Final count 18 good eggs, 1 boob, and 1 slug. Should be plenty to prove one way or another if he's het Anery and/or Lavender. Also will find out if mom has any hidden Albino, Diffused, or Charcoal genes floating around in there. Never know...

Maybe the term is only used for Ball Python eggs and not Corn eggs. On the BP forum they call eggs that are half good and half slugs "boob eggs". They are typically fertile, just that the babies that come out of them are a little smaller than the ones coming out of normal eggs. The top picture shows a normal egg (upper left) what I assume is a slug (upper right) and the one that's party good and partly slug (bottom), the lower picture is just that one egg by itself, you can see the left side looks good, and does have veins, but the right side is funky.
