Hey Jimmy check your PM here on this site. I sent you a link to some Black Rat morphs similar to the one you have. Maybe not exactly the same but similar anyway.

yeah I got a black rat the other day that I believe to be a rusty.
The hypo on that site resembles the one I got. I'm wondering if their "hypo" is actually a rusty.
I found it odd that they said the hypo was the basis for their lavenders? black rat genetics that much different then corns?
The rusty I got shed today. I will try to get pics tomorrow and post them.
Look below at the post asking for help from the rat people, that was while in the blue.

Rusty and brindle refered to the same thing, hypo? Maybe two forms or hypomelanism not related like in corns? I know black rats have two different forms of amelanism. I THINK I used to know if there was a diff between rusty and brindle, but cant remember now LOL!!

I'm pretty sure rusty and brindle are different..I think brindles look even better.. there was someone that used to frequent this site that was big into black rat morphs...he posted pics of calicos, brindles, albinos, rustys, lemon suckers all kinds of whicked looking black rats. Don't know what happened to him or his collection of black rat morphs.

Yeah, I don't know why I never really got into the black rat morphs but they are peaking my interest now. I have a Bubblegum that drives me nuts! She's been very finacky and two years in a row she developes eggs and stops eating only to re-absorb the eggs and laugh at me! As if to say, S I K E! Fooled you again sucker!

As mentioned, Will and his partner Phil pioneered this morph.
.
Both, appreciate talking with local folks when field herping, and west central Kentucky rural folks sometime refer to "Black" Rat Snakes in their barns as "Cow Suckers".
.
The Amel,or hypo, version gives you "Lemon Cow Suckers".

I think you are talking about "FRoberts". He frequents the BLBC(Bush-League Breeders Club) all the time. Yeah, he has lots of different N.A. rat morphs.
