Hondo Morphs

allahami Jun 13, 2010 11:55 PM

I have been raising herps for a while now, and am really intrigued about raising some hondos. I have a beautiful male albino hondo I would like to breed to some females.

Which females would give me the most interesting morphs in my clutches in your opinions?

Thanks!

Well it all depends on what you're wanting to produce?

If you want Amels...then get a female Amel(or two) to pair with your male.

Find a female Tang. Amel and a Tricolor Amel...and you'll cover some of the Amel morphs.

The questions you need to ask yourself are:

What do I want to produce?

How much do I want to spend?

How long do I want to wait to produce neonates?

Hey, my male is probably 1-2 years out from producing anyway, just a yearling now. I don't mind waiting a while to produce, I have mastered the art of delayed gratification lol.

I think I will probably get a female tangerine het amel, so I can produce some normals het amel, and some tangerine amels.

I will proabably get him 3 females total, just don't know what the other two might be. Was thinking about an anery, but I'll just get double hets for amel and anery if I breed him to an anery correct? If you guys have some interesting ideas for females, let me know, I'm just checking what options I have now, thanks!
