Paradigm Motley Litter, AND.........

BoaMorph Jun 14, 2010 02:03 AM

Hypo Motley het-Sharp litter on the same day!

Got home about 1:00 AM Saturday, and walked in to find our Motley female that had been bred by a Sharp Sunglow just starting to push her babies out at POS-plus-101. This was a small but nice litter of Hypo Motley het-Sharp stuff:

Meanwhile, two cages below, our Paradigm female that had been bred by a Motley het-Sharp was resting uncomfortably at POS-plus-110. She had been cruising the cage earlier Friday, and now had settled under the newspaper, so I knew it would be SOON - easily our most anticipated litter of the year! At 2:00 AM I made the mistake of sitting down for a minute and passed out. My German Shepherd woke me up at 6 AM wondering why we were still on the sofa and not in bed. When I walked back in I saw that the Paradigm's cage front was misted over, so I knew she had given birth. With fingers crossed and a deep breath, I lifted up the papers to find this spectacular sight:

A huge pile of Paradigm Motley Sharp Parahet stuff! Here's a shot of the Motley Parahets and Parahets:

And a shot of all the Paradigm Motleys, Paradigms, Motley Sharps, and Sharps:

Check out the Paradox Sharp Motley with the PINK-TIPPED BLACK TONGUE!

Finally, here's a one-of-each photo: Paradigm Motley, Sharp Motley, Paradigm, and Sharp, with the Paradox Sharp Motley in the background (ok, no Parahet or Motley Parahet in this photo - it was almost too many wriggling babies to deal with as it was!)

By the way, if anyone is still struggling with Paradigm genetics or genetics in general (e.g., What do I get if a breed a This to a That?), check out the "Paradigms and Genetics" Page of our website that we updated and posted last fall at www.BoaMorph.com -it will definitely help you!

HUGE THANKS to Mike and Stephanie at Basically Boas for hooking us up with the top-notch boas that produced this incredible litter!

Hope everyone is having a great 2010 baby boa season!

Now that's hitting the jack pot! Those are all some awesome looking boas, specially the Motley Sharp Albino, with the black tongue! I bet it will grow into a very colorful Albino Motley.

The Paradigm and other Albino Motleys are sweet looking too!

Huge Congrats,
