ARB photo session

Took Mendoza out tonight for some pics. He seems to be getting better looking with age. I put him on the stove top to test out the black background, unexpectedly got a neat pic with a reflection.

Thanks for looking,
Ed

Ed, he is looking great as usual! That bright green background looks really neat in contrast with him. Nice job!

Thanks Aubrey. Some think that green background is obnoxious, but it works pretty well imo.

Thanks,
Ed

Mendoza is looking great! How old and big is he now?
I was offered a pretty subadult female about a year and a half ago and am still kicking myself for passing her up.

Thanks! He's a little over 2 years old now. I've never measured him, but I'd estimate he's probably 32" long or so. Yeah, too bad you passed on that female, but maybe you'll get another opportunity.

Thanks,
Ed

>>Handsome little devil he's turning out to be, Ed. Great photos!
>>
>>That said, I do believe this is the first time I've ever heard the phrase "I put him on the stove top" in reference to photography....

Looked like an interesting background - black and shiny. And yes, I checked to make sure all the burners were cool.

Thanks!
Ed

That is a beautiful snake. I have been wanting a pair of those for years.
