Has anyone an egg deposition over 40 eggs? I have one heterodon n. n. which lay 42 eggs.
Giant version?
The female eats rats and is circa 100cm / 3,3 feet.
eggs are also bigger than normal.

Got that documented by any chance??? That would certainly be a record breaking clutch bt far... Maybe you are talking about multi clutching in a season and not one sitting???

yes I made a photo with the iphone! the qualtiy is not so good.
it was one session with 42 eggs. today they hatched.

I had a 29 egg clutch from a 450 gram het albino female. I thought that was a large clutch but 42 is huge.
I've already had 5 go bad on me so I'm down to 24.
