R.I.P. 1 year anniversery of Baby's death (my big retic)

caimanking Sep 23, 2003 12:26 PM

Well it has been a year since my pet retic, of almost 17 years, died and even though my collection now includes species that I never EVER thought possible I still cannot forget the joy of owning a truly large beautiful, inquisitive retic (22ft,250lb). Baby was family. Thanxs for listening, Attila

Did you have her all those years? Maybe you can plant a tree as a memorial.

Yes she was part of my life for the entire 17 years and that tree planting idea is an awesome idea! Thanxs. I think a dwarf (she was no dwarf) cherry would be nice! Take care, Attila

Baby was an amazing animal, it hasn't been the same around here without her. How is my girl doing?

Good to hear from you Attila, hope that all is well!

Attilah,

Havent spokent to you for along time, much has gone on, some good, a lot bad. I recently lost my adult eastern indigo male"CADILLAC". He was 20 years of age at his time of death, ten of which that were spent with me. I know how hard it is to lose an animal that you have had for so long. I to have had many other really neat snakes come in, things that I wanted and pined away for, but Cadillac was always a mainstay, a snake that I did presentations with,a snake that bred and produced until almost 1 year ago. I will miss him. Your retic was truly impressive, it seems to me that not many people keep them up until they hit their adult size. Congrats on takeing such good care of him for so long. Take care.

Sincerly,

Sorry to hear about that(even though it was a year ago, I remember that)-she was a pretty one.
