I have mentioned this months ago, but with the moving date coming up, I need to get the details ironed out. I believe I was talking to Dave, so if we could resume the conversation that would be great.
Thanks.

Sorry it took so long to reply, but my computer got completely wiped. Anyway, we had discussed putting him in a cooler or insulated box, and bring him inside so that he doesn't get too hot, and that's about it.
Thank you
Pack the snake up in a styrofoam lined cardboard box. Reptiles get shipped all over the country this way. The styrofoam lining will provide insulation to protect the snake. As long as you do not leave the box with snake in it in a car parked in the sun it will be fine. Poke a few small air holes in the box and also open the box once a day. A healthy snake can even live sealed up in a styrofoam lined box with small airholes for many days so long as the box does not get exposed to extreme temperatures for very long. Give the snake water to drink every other day you are traveling. Most other snakes are fine with no water to drink for several days but Rainbow Boas do require more water than others.
Thank you, I was wondering about giving him water. I'm just worried because it will between seven and ten days on the road and then another day or so to get him set up.
Thank you
