Is there a larger variety "Mimai" phase or has anyone crossed a "Miami" phase with another type of corn to increase size? Dont mean to upset anyone was just curious.

Not entirely sure what you're asking. Carol's miami-phase snakes are right in the normal range for a corn snake as an adult, and she breeds some of the best out there.
Outcrossing a miami-phase snake isn't so good an idea because you'll then spend generations line-breeding to get good quality miamis again... defeating the supposed purpose of the outcross.
Thanks--does Carol have a web site? or pics ? Ive had Miami phase in the past but all the ones Ive ever seen seemed to be on the small end 3-4ft where as some corns Ive seen are closer to the 5-6ft range.
Miamis tend to be smaller by nature. There are exceptions to every rule though. I lived in Maiami for many years and caught many corns down there and they vary both in size and in color. I have only ever found a small handfull that had that wow factor I like, cause most of the wild caughts there are very dark and not very pretty. Most of the Miamis don't even have to be from Miami anymore. It has become more of a look than a location. I suspect many lines of Miamis have been crossed with animals for cleaner grey and wider bands and whatever the breeder is aiming at.

Those corns look beautiful. Mine had the darker background.
Yeah i got real lucky when I got these. I purchased them at the Tampa show a couple years ago. I searched up and down the entire place row by row and only found one guy who had anything close to what I was looking for. I also got a Crimson but it did not survive. It never really ate well and gave me hell till it croaked. Here's a pic of it.

Hypo het for silverQueen but as I said he didn't make it. Instead I bred the Hypo to that Male Miami in the first picture. Can't wait to see the babies from those two and the Miami's.
