Anyone know who is working with these guys? I'm looking to pick up a trio. I'm praying i can find them at daytona this year! Also looking for info on them. I've kept sumatrans but want malaysians! Thanks in advance,
John

If its reds your looking for, and you have kept Sumatrans, which im guessing you mean "blacks" then you shouldn't have ANY problem finding a trio, or even a dozen!
if its locality specific reds your wanting, as in the two red locals (malaysia or sumatra) you wont really be able to tell the difference.
Either way, you can be assured there will be some nice screamer hatchlings by the time august roles around.

Goodluck!

It is pretty easy to tell the difference between Sumatran and Malayan reds. Sometimes its confusing, but it might be like distinguishing Biaks from Sorongs.
I personally like Sumatran Reds myself.

Theres no real way of telling whether they are true malaysians or sumatrans...
There are nice big reds occuring in malaysia as well as sumatra, as well as yellow or orange small bloods ocurring in both these places...

One may say, that there is MORE redder specimens occuring on malaysia then sumatra, but that holds no weight as far as definately specifying the correct locality, unless you yourself have hand picked that snake from that region, or you know the person who has...

Just look for a nice red specimen, if you go around asking ppl at the show whether they're malaysians or sumatrans, they will probably tell you whatever you want to hear.
