This is one of my females, although she does not have black dots on either side of vent like some females, you can see the scales are smaller than the males. Eve

...another step closer to "the Vent Pics" Forum! In addition to the C. dickersonae, Brock said the C. vestigiums do not always exibit the enlarged post-anal scales. Wanna put some up of Chino? Nice closeup, BTW!

his aquaflames that everyone seemed to think the other day including you, that he may have a young male instead of female.
So I was showing collaris, oh and not all my females have dots, either as I said

I would say that "she" is in fact a she from the examples you have given. The examples I must say were awesome too! Thanks Eve! I will keep an eye on the femoral pores as she(?) grows since she is a little smaller than Bluey. Bluey is very visibly a male and the little girl in question is very different. She also exhibits the dots you spoke of on either side of the cloaca. I am fairly certain that she is offended by all of this he/she lizard stuff too! Thanks again Eve and JohnE for your off forum email. I will spare you the x rated lizard pics since it is fairly obvious. At least at this point anyway

THanks!

I have deemed her "Lola". Anyone who can tell me why is most likely as old as I am.

Hint:It has to do with her gender confusion.

Pretty funny the babies are hard to tell male from female from looking at them. John Styner's adult females were the same way...more yellow on them that some males show. Hopefully you will have a female that exhibits some yellow too.

John (with large femoral scales)

kofseattle Sep 24, 2003 08:04 AM

Hi John,

Actually they are both showing signs of yellow on the head. Bluey sheds about every other day and suprises me each time. His head is showing alot of yellow already. Little "Lola" is also showing yellow but not as bright yet. However, she is younger and smaller so who knows what is to come. I will keep you posted!
