crested question

frogger12 Sep 23, 2003 02:13 PM

I have an adult female crested eyelash gecko and every month she lays about 2-4 eggs. She has not been around a male for 1 to 2 years. Why does she keep laying them? Does she have to much calcium? Also, I heard that they can lay fertile eggs with out a male to fertilize them, is this true??? Should I keep the eggs and try to incubate them and see if they hatch? Any information will help. Thanx.
