Ok. We have a w/c Guyana. She was three feet when we got her, and she was feeding on live prey. We fed her live rats from the time we got her until recently. We tried to switch her to f/t prey to ease the strain on us at feeding time. We fed her on two different occasions in the last two months. Appropriate size prey to girth ratio, thawed completely and the like. She regurgitated both times. Last week we got her some live rats, and fed her once more. No regurgitation whatsoever. Just out of curiousity, has anyone else ever had this problem with trying to switch prey on a w/c snake. Coincidentally we have a w/c ball python who absolutely refuses to even consider striking at f/t food. Any thoughts on the boa and the regurgitation with f/t? All the other snakes eat f/t with gusto with the exception of the w/c snakes.
