What's considered the highest end dragon

kangaskritters Jun 23, 2010 10:45 PM

It's been 10 or more years since I kept and bred dragons and I'm getting the itch again. Back then I don't think there were any morphs. So what is considered the highest-end morph or mix morph available? Who has it and what's it worth? Just trying to gauge the market before getting back in. Pictures would be great too. I'm still a sucker for a good paint job on reptiles.

Albinos are out there somewhere and have a retail value of about $10,000 each.

Hypo translucent silks have rumored to sell up to $5,000 each.

Wiblets/silverback/paternless morph have been advertised @ $4,000 each. A pair of young hets is aprox $6,000

Hypo translucent leathers sell for $3,000 to $1,000 depending on sex, quality and size.

Exceptional dragons of any morph can go for $600 to $1200 if they are unique in color, pattern, build, quality, size ect.

There are more morphs and combinations on the horizon. Dalmata (freckled), Kevin Dunns dashed patterned dragons (I call them Dunners), purples, pied, I have seen what I believe is anerys and amels. Blue eyed dragons, true dwarfs. Whatever morph “Raz” is, and many more.

Wow! Some of the things on the horizon you mentioned sounf off-the-hook! I'm liking the hypo italian leatherbacks with the tiger pattern for something to get soon.

I've seen that picture around for a long time also. I have heard of no new births.
