Can you trim a beaded dragons nails? His nails are killing me, the kids dont want to handle him anymore because they keep getting scratched and he just wants out more and more. Everyone is avoiding him lately, poor thing!

Can you trim a beaded dragons nails? His nails are killing me, the kids dont want to handle him anymore because they keep getting scratched and he just wants out more and more. Everyone is avoiding him lately, poor thing!
Sure you can trim them. Be sure to only take off the sharp part, and not up to close to the finger or you'll hit the vein and cause bleeding. You really just clip the tip to even in out so there is not a sharp point.

Thank you, I couldnt see why not but then I never read anywhere that people trimmed them so I thought I better ask first. Now to tackly Herman and cut them *LOL* that will be an interesting time thats for sure.

Wow thats great, thanks so much. I dont think that Ive ever read anything about the nails until now. Maybe I did and was just more worried about the feed and care in the past. Now that Herman is huge his nails are too!
