POS (or lack thereof) being genetic?

Just got a note from Al Brown and some things clicked. This year my Albino Boa Sierra had NO POS, same thing last year but last year I caught the ovulation so had a very close due date. Sierra came from Al and her mother has had 5 litters for Al and you should have guessed it, not one single POS from her either. That makes a total of 7 litters from two generations and not a POS for one of them!!!

Hmmm......

Interesting idea Dave, I had a fem that never gave me a POS ,
I never saw an ovulation.

I believe they were all "SMO"

Yours is an Albino. Is her Mother an Albino as well? It might be related to that commonality in particular. Could be...

Actually Sierra's mother is a Het Albino and her Father was a Albino Het. Snow! The Mother Het produced my first litter of albinos in 04 and I never got a POS. In 2005 and 2006 I bred her again and caught the ovulation, but once again no POS! She put her weight back on fabulously after all three litters. I gave her 2007 off and she produced again for me in 2008 and 2009 and is currently gravid again and looking great... She is my absolute best producer and I have not had this kind of luck with any of my other breeder females... Just a one a million producer... She will get this next season off...

There goes that as a possibility. That is peculiar though.
