You take some incredible pics, man. The dilapidated house with the sinking car...just needs some zombies wandering around in the foreground. Haha!

The rabbit with what looks like a tick on it's eye. The red garter. The fox...Very cool. I make your pics my desktop backgrounds at work on a regular basis.

I push the super macro button & put my camera right up to the bug.

I love it. No technical explanations necessary. Your camera has the feature. And it just works.

RE: BUGS...

bugs are cool. can anyone identify these two moths? the jumbo one (that's a dime for comparison) was on the pavement at a gas station SW of columbia SC. I scooped it up and carried it to nearby woods. Happily, the several people who noticed didn't seem to think there was anything odd about doing that. The pink and yellow one was in arkansas. Left it in place.

and the okeetee hunt club sign was at, well, you know... Last year i caught a baby eastern king about 25 feet outside this posted perimeter. No such luck this year, but did bring home four skink eggs to hatch.

The second pic is a Rosy Maple Moth... great snacks for my tree frogs.

The first is more difficult to ID, I would guess an Underwing, perhaps Ilia Underwing, but it's a best guess... I've long ago forgotten more than I remember concerning moths.

Those pics are amazing, as always. I have to know: What kind of camera do you use? The colors and details of the photos are amazing!

Killer macro shots Dan!
BTW, what kind of rock is that? Sandstone or limestone? I'm curious.
Oh, and that Gartersnake rocks!!

Sincerely,
Matthew
