Hello I was wondering if an aquarium set on end and made into a vivarium will filter out too much of my uv for proper diurnal gecko care (Lygodactylus geckos specifically). thanks

From everything i've ever heard, if it is going through glass there is no UV left. Most glasses have UV filters but even the ones that don't filter most of it anyway. That's just what i've heard
Yes just about any glass will block almost all UV B light and a lot,but not all, UV A light. Tempered glass (what aquariums are made from) even more so, something to do with the bonding process when it's made. You would need a light source inside the glass for your critter.
