My Cyclura are begining to lay now. The first clutch is my male GORGEOUS BLUE BOY to a very blue female today. She is small and this is her first time laying so I got only 7 eggs which is more than I expected to get.

Very nice specimens TOM! i wonder how often they lay infirtile eggs? the green iguanas i have bred in the past almost always layed infirtile eggs in the first clutch.. is this the same in cyclura?

No, every Green Iguana and Cyclura I have ALWAYS lay fertile eggs first clutch or not. All 7 of their eggs are fertile. Now the wait begins. I also have at least 3 C. cornuta that will lay in the next day or so...thanks
