Finally Eggs!

RG Jun 27, 2010 02:58 PM

I won't bore you all with the details, but I haven't been able to produce eggs for over two years...this clutch ended the streak!

I wanted to thank Anthony (Antr1) for hooking me up with this Amel female and allowing me to hatch some stuff out this year!

I've had many other people help as well (Doug M., Nathan, Don, and Herby)...and I wanted to thank them for their support as well.

Hopefully I'll have some really cool things pop out of this clutch...we shall see in about 90 days!

Awesome Rusty! That is a great looking pile-O-eggs brother!

You are quite welcome man!, and I would also like to thank Anthony for his helping us both out with some great looking stuff.

We should both get some sweet fruition from the joint projects we have going buddy!.........can't WAIT!

BTW,...."90 days??", what, are you keeping the eggs in, the fridge or something?

messin' with ya of course..LOL!

For SURE, Doug!

waiting 70 plus days in anticipation seems like forever too!

my floridana were much quicker than the milks at the same temp, they only took 58 days last year at 80-81 degrees as opposed to the 72 to 80 days for the many Hondo clutches.

That was supposed to be 80 days!!!! Fat fingers I guess...but my Hondo eggs typically go 77-80 days.

Can't wait!

Congrats Rusty - last year was her second year laying and her eggs were huge also. They also went past 90 days incubating at room temp ... between 78 and 74 degrees depending on how often the air conditioning was on.

I hope your male proves out for you.

Just hope all these eggs are fertile; I will be looking for blood vessels this weekend!
