NEW CAGE

this isnt the best picture at all, but the dark image to the left is a waterfall that my croc love ot hide underneath and to the right there is a big bushy fern plant that they also love to lay behind, some of you may think that the humidity might not be right due to the screen fensing but i control the thermostat for that room, so the temp, down there is always pretty warm. The pond is 150 gallons, and heated by 2 titanium heaters. The light hanging to the left is a heat lamp(80-85 degrees) for a basking spot and to the right behind the door is another lighted baskign area(90-100 degrees). Feel free to ask any questions.

yeah the smooth front wont get to be to much bigger although he'll probaly out grow that enclosue but as for the american, you better get ready for the 12-13 that he'll get. but im sure you knew that, also i love the new enclosure it looks grat, good job man. also, i got a buddy with a pretty mellow american and i have a smooth front and its aggressive as hell. does this make an impact on your american or is he aggressive already anyway, just curious. later

thanks for the replies, yes i understand how big the americans get, and as for the enclosure i have only 1 year left at my place i live in now, and by the time the american needs more room they will both get a gigantic enclosure. As for the two of them the amercian is mellow and the caimen is very aggressive, but they seem to love each others company, they sleep together in the hide i have for them, they swim together, and im starting to observe them helping each other during hunting. Its kind of wierd but they will both trap a mouse somewere in the enclosure then one of them will take it, as i put another one in they will both trap it again somewere but the other will take it, and then they just wait for more.( i always feed them equally)And i evan observed a kill by the caimen, who then took the mouse over to waters edge where the american was dropped the mouse out of his mouth and left it there, (almost as he was leaving it for the american) althouhg it may have been a coincidence
