Northern Redbelly Snake. Oconee County. Also catch-and-release!

Sorry, better pics of copperheads will come soon!!!!

American Alligator. Santee Coastal Reserve

Green Treefrog. Sumter County

Eastern cottonmouth. Sumter County.

Sorry guys. Alot of these pictures suck. The mosquitos and horseflys make it hard to sit still when shootin pics!!

Other than these pics, I havent seen much other than DOR rat snakes. Have found a couple other DORs:corns, kingsnakes, and 1 scarlet snake(Edisto Beach). Hoping the oil doesnt make its way to our coast and that the leak is stopped soon!!!!

Good Luck,
justin

if the copperhead came from the coastal side of SC i'd imagine it is a southern.

The copperhead was actually from the mountain/foothills region. I think they are pretty much true southerns with a little northern influence. Hard to tell til they mature completely tho. thx for input
