Its cool how these guys stand up to look over the grass

I love these woodhouses toads

Daniel, at only 2 years old found this toad himself. When he spotted it he started chasing it yelling "a frog! a frog!", it was awesome! It was the only toad we saw at this spot on the creek.

After dark I headed down to the river to look for some plains toads, I could hear them from quite a distance. In case some of you dont know, when you are within a couple feet of a group of these things cherping its so loud you should probably have ear plugs, & you can feel the ground vibrating, its pretty cool.

Hey Dan nice pics. I went down to Eastern Montana to find Hognose or preferably a milk snake a couple years ago without any luck. Have you had any luck finding these species?

I've found hogs here in central MT. I know guys that have found pales, but I never have, I keep trying with no luck.
