Het Hypo Jungle-ish Hoggie!!!!

JTColubrids Jun 30, 2010 10:47 AM

Hatched this guy out from a Hypo x Het hypo breeding from Tom Agosta's stock. They are true hypos and not from the T Positive evans/lasik line. I assume this guy is a het hypo but his belly does look slate gray like my adult male... so I guess we will see when he sheds but so far I am calling him a Het Hypo Enjoy!!!

Hope you liked him

He has a really cool pattern and that belly rocks...
has a true hypo been proven in hogs yet or is this the start of the project???

Tom Agosta has True Hypos that lack black and have slate gray coloring anywhere that a normal hog would have black, for example on their bellies and eyes. The hypos from his line get more pastel looking as they age having chocolate brown saddles with a GREEN mask on their face and green markings toward their tails. His hypos are TRULY GREEN in places. Like them a lot! Its too bad that I lost the rest of this clutch as I am sure there would be some hypos in there... Next season!!!

Also I believe there are others that have True Hypo lines that they are working with... maybe someone else will chime in

Been a while since I've posted!

This is a "true hypo" coined Smoke Hypo

It's hard to capture the true beauty of it but you get the idea!
