Hi, everyone!

I'm inexperienced in ball pythons and would like to ask for some help please.

I got these animals from a competent source, but wanted to verify that they are what they were represented as.

Some of these morphs are subtle and hard for me to verify 100%.

Please take a look and let me know your thoughts.

Thank you in advance for your help!

This certainly has the yellowbelly look to me. I'd like to see more flames on the sides though. Can you get a picture of his belly stretched out a little more?

There looks like there is too much color on the belly. The yellowbellies I am familiar with have lots of busy flames low on the sides that end abruptly in a nice clear belly. I haven't personally ever seen a yellowbelly WITHOUT the distinctive headspot, but I could be wrong.

They are both very pretty looking normals to me. I'd recommend having a talk with the person who sold them to you. Maybe they had a good reason to feel they were yellowbellies?

Yellowbellies can be tricky. I've seen proven yellowbellies on the classifieds that I couldn't even tell were yellowbellies.

This is the belly of my CH YB.

And his sides.

it has the head marking, but i don't see the belly marking. but then again i could be wrong. i just hatched out a clutch of yellowbellies......i have one that has the head marking but no belly marking and is not as bright on the lateral golden stripe.

here is a belly shot of one of the hatchlings. i can post some adult belly shots for you if you want too.

for the belly there should be more white in between the flecking....but then again there is really no set rule on the markings.

I would need a belly shot of this one to confirm/deny. She sure is cute though.

I have and produced ybs.... Both in my opinion are ybs. While they are not your prime examples lacking in some caracteristics they are making up for it with the others. Thats just how they are. Some are screamers and some just have that look that can only be seen buy someone that produced a few of em. In my opinion they both are.
