Guyana female

Naren Jul 01, 2010 05:07 AM

I have guyanan BCC female and I wish to breed her by autumn of this year. Whether I should do the period of cooling up to breeding? I have read "Ultimate care manual" of Jeff Ronne, but it is written for the Colombian boas. What differences in a temperature mode should have ÂÑÑ by preparation, the maintenance of the gravid female?
Somebody, who breed ÂÑÑ, tell me please how you do?
Thank you

I started dropping my night drop temps to 78 and daytime highs to 85 in mid october and reduced feeding drastically. In November I put them together ...I stopped all daily misting for the breeding period... They started copulating after about a month of courting... and my female ovulated in March.... I kept my male in the whole time until he finally showed no interest right before her POS......

I raised temps up slowly until finally getting back up to the Day 92 Night 85..... I kept this night drop throughout gestation... I started misting daily during the last month.... My female delivered around 127 days POS..... all babies(9) were full term and I had no slugs......

THis worked for this breeding this season... and I have a pair of North Brazilians copulating now under the same conditions

THat's a really nice Guyana..... Good luck with your breeding
