CAREFRESH PET BEDDING

AbsoluteRae Sep 23, 2003 05:38 PM

Has anyone used carefresh with their reptiles? I've heard mixed reviews on this product and my biggest concern is that it might caure respiratory irritation. I only have one cornsnake right now and I'm curious if this product would be appropriate for her (she's a hatchling). Thanks for any advice!!!

From what I've heard, it's kinda dusty, and might cause eye and respitory irritation. For my hatchling, right now I'm using papertowels. That and and newspaper is the best. Aspen, and I think Cyprus, are okay wood shavings to use otherwise.

Good Luck!

If anything I think aspen is dustier- but I still use it. According to my vet, carefresh is one of the only beddings that's safe to ingest. It tends to get rather gross when wet thoguh.
