Apollo Shed

Paul_D Jul 01, 2010 10:42 PM

Wouldn't you know it... As soon as I post updated pictures of all my snakes, Apollo sheds again. Here are a few pictures. The first two are were taken yesterday, and the last three were taken that night while he was showing off his white walls.

NICE, Apollo looks as if he's glowing.

Thanks Zack. Apollo always brings a smile to my face when I pull him out of his cage. He glows even more in person, but it's tough to capture without using a flash. I've figured out how to photograph very natural color without using the flash on my camera, so about 99% of my pictures are taken without it.

That's one trick i'm trying to learn, very difficult to get true colors with these animals, and also anything that's albino is near impossible without drowning out the color if you use a flash

Paul,

I think that Apollo is on the brink of being as firey orange as BRBs can possibly even get. Beautiful indeed!!!!

Thanks Ike, I can't wait till Apollo gets a little older so I can breed him with Ambrosia. Those are probably my top two animals color wise. I'm just going to have to hold my breath a while

Well Cliff, Apollo is the god of Sun and light. I figured his name would be enough warning One of these days, I'd love to see a picture of his sister that you got from the same litter.
