Is there anything better

ChrisOz Jul 02, 2010 07:57 PM

My eggs have started to hatch today Is there anything better than seeing heads out of the egg? My Argentine Boa dropped a litter on me last week but it is not as cool to me as eggs hatching. Cant wait for the Balls to pip. By the way I used the Reptibator for these guys I love it you can fit a good amount in them if you are looking for an inexpensive incubator.

I can't wait for my eggs to start pipping! As for an Incubator, I live in Florida the whole state is an incubator, lol. I just put the eggs in Shoe boxes with vermiculite and keep them in a room with no AC. Works everytime!

NO there is nothing better.
I think if you begin to loose the thrill of hatchlings piping you might as well hang it up. That is unless you only see it as a money maker and not a hobby. For me, I hope I never loose that excitement.
Good luck with all them.

It's definitely not about the money to me. I sell my hatchlings to a friend of mine who owns a reptile store for a few bucks a piece it barley covers the cost of their meals before they move on I just love to see them hatch. If it was up to my wife I would still have every snake we ever hatched.

I LOOOOOOVE hatching. In fact, I've got a bunch of babies hatching at this very moment.

Of course, I'm hatching CHICKENS rather than snakes, but it's the same principle.....
