I know it's a bit different, but in lots of the US, there's tons of urban herps. I've seen a variety of herps in cities--parks, backyards, parking lots, etc.
This fellow was found in the parking lot of a retail store I used to work at

wife's coworkers apartment

city park

In addition I've found prairie rattlers (in the same park as that Nerodia),a bull snake (IN the retail store I used to work at), a buttermilk racer (mom's yard in Houston), a texas rat (same), thamnophis, etc. in urban environments. I know it's not the normal "field" work, but I was wondering what ya'll had come across inside cities, photos very welcome
