Chad_Ramsey Jul 04, 2010 07:55 AM

First of all this is my FIRST pied that i have produced. He came out of a clutch of 5 eggs from a het to het breeding. And i got 2 pieds from the clutch. The other is taken its sweet time coming out of its egg though and appears to have some white.

I did see some white on that snake..... on its belly! Sorry. Bad joke. That is a really cool looking snake. If that pattern could be passed on to its offspring, a striped no-white pied would be a desirable mutation. Congrats.

HA! yeah the belly is white, i guess i should have said "NO back white"

Im interested in seeing what the other pied in this clutch looks like.

Thanks

thanks Chris. to tell you the truth i was a tad disappointed at first. BUT he is growing on me

I love the low whites and I think the pattern is alot more interesting if you are that disapointed send him to me I will take good care of him for you. Great looking snake make some more

Chad_Ramsey Jul 04, 2010 06:28 PM

OH NO NO NO, i love him, BUT i had dreamed that my forst pied would be a HIGH white. I mean that is what a Pied is famous for right?

I too like low whites. Hopefully the other in the clutch will have some white, ill keep them both, and have the best of both worlds.

okay, so maybe i am a bit confused, but if it doesnt have any white. how could it be a pied and not a het?
