Never having bred boas before..but hoping to in the near future..I saw a post and some pics and what are the hockey pucks? That's probably a dumb question but I'm curious

They are unfertilized ova, more often called "slugs".

Lol..I bet that could be the case if your expecting something really awesome..I am really digging the sunglows they look awesome

lol sunglows are the beginning to the addiction look at the t-pos bloods , caramel , paraglows , t-pos glow ,paradigm motleys and even some of the dwarf morphs like the sunsets and the sunburns there are alot out there dont limit yourself lol and hard to believe there is more new morphs to come
some of the morphs that just get me going are the scoria and the paradigm morphs
to many to choose so little time lol just be careful once bit by the snake bug there is no 12 step program to stop the addiction lol but we have meetings all the time (forum) lmao

Yeah I understand I love being addicted to it tho...I am getting ready to start adding to my list of boas soon..its carzy that it all started with a black rat snake I caught 18 years ago..- took a break while I was in japan in the navy but now I'm trying to get into it full time

lmao oh you have no idea the addiction with boas there is no cure i have my six and my girlfriend is like i dont understand the money you spent on them i told her its not bout the money its about the snake and what type and color im strict bout sticking to breed type my triple hets i would put up against any hypo out there for color my motley well she is just breath taking and getting brighter with every shed
the only snake i bought that isnt breed or morph type and dosnt meet any or the requirements of the actual morph is my ghost she was a sweet deal i couldnt pass up but i have alot of people tell me she is probably the best of all my girls i beg to differ but she is awesome lol
my point is this rome wasnt built over night take your time find the right animals for your projects and get the right animals color dosnt come easy you can put two together and pray or you can put two together and know there is going to be something there it isnt much difference than ball breeding as far color production you want the best of the best just take your time

Yeah I'm not in a really big hurry just getting into the feel of boas..I would like to breed next year tho..by then I should have a few awesome specimens..I saw some leos that were hot..but I still like the sunglow better
