Post shed pos super lipstick.

zenzinia Jul 04, 2010 04:19 PM

Here are some post shed pics of my F2 pos super lipstick sunglow litter. They were born the 26 th of may and the lipsticks have only shed between the 27 th of june and the 2 of july ! Two of the albinos haven’t shed yet.! I have never experienced a so long period between birth and the first shed with boas, I have had that once with coastal carpets. They have been fed 3 times before the first shed and the albinos 4 times. They were very big babies at birth and one of the albinos weight 115 gr and haven’t shed yet !
I have been blessed with this F2 lipstick litter, the babies from the litter are all pastels and collorfull even the wild type ones.
I think they are still the only true lipsticks in Europe Here are some photos, I will show the pastel albinos when they will finally shed.
Thanks for looking.

That's what I'm talking about!!!! Congratulations Alain!!! That is an awesome litter with the dark red color in the sunglows that we strive for in the Lipstick line. Was the father the male sunglow you got from me a few years ago and is the mother also a Lipstick line?

Yes it’s him from 2004 litter, the one I was luchy enough to get from you !

Here he is now 6 years old and he kept his red colors.

And the female is from the first litter he fathered in 2006 with a red pastel female. She was a keeper because of the intense red of her tail, so yes she was also a hypo lipstick line.

That’s her before the breeding season.

So you now have gran gran childs in Paris lol
Thanks for your comments Tom.

I love to see the results of breeding the best of my Lipstick line back into the Lipstick line!!! Better be careful though.........you'll start getting accused of a marketing ploy or photoshopping your pictures!!! LOL I always say....."Selective breeding brings Selective results!!" Great job of putting together the right combination!

I konw what you mean lol
What ever the morph is, selective breedings make the difference and with boas more than any with other snakes because of their natural polygenisme.
Thanks again.

Those babies are absolutely unreal. I wish we had a couple of those beauties in our racks. Those pastel supers are just crazy. Keep it up. How is dad doing? He is the wild candy cane colored lipstick right?
