you milksnake people are crazy!!!

asnakelovinbabe Jul 04, 2010 10:55 PM

I have never seen a thread like the one about my eastern... what in the heck??! I am not so sure I should post any updates here!!! Too much controversy over NOTHING, in my opinion. Anybody who wants to doubt this snake from now on... I'll simply tell them to move on. I know what it is, and so does everyone ele who knows what they are looking at. I have never seen a dead horse beaten so severely.... LOL! I'll continue to call it a t plus... not HYPO... or lavendar... we will see if it still looks lavendar as it grows up. Maybe I will change my mind... for now I will simply call her Candy. She's digesting that pinky well.

First of call, congrats on your find! And congrats on your success with getting her to eat a pinky!

Second, don't let the immaturity of some ruin it for you to post on here. Sadly, the phenomenon of " keyboard commandos " can at times threaten to ruin someone's experience on forums, which are supposed to be dedicated to the fun of our hobby. Just think of what you have experienced as hearing some kid throwing a tantrum at the grocery store a few aisles down, and just tune it out.....haha!

Again, killer find my friend!

It's a gorgeous snake and a great find, with or without all the hot air. So don't worry, be happy.

We dont just post pretty pictures we have conversations in front of people. I'm a glass half full guy, there are more people I respect on the subject here than anywhere else. Not everyone can win an arguement well, but often times points get brought up here that dont elsewhere. Sensitive pants aside....

I'm sorry you had to deal with all the BS from a small few. I have learned to deal with it by ignoring the posts and staying out of such discussions.

Many of us recognize what a prize that snake is and would like to help you raise it to maturity so the gene can be worked with in the hobby. I myself would like nothing more than to work with T easterns. I have a vested interest in helping you succeed with it!

Please continue to post pictures of it and share with us how its doing. Many of us are extremely interested in that project!

Thanks for taking the time to post what you have so far.

Yeah don't take it personally. I learned that right away, though sometimes it's hard. There are many people here including myself who would love to see more pictures of your beautiful snake as it grows. I didn't read all the posts cause it got to be too much, but I don't think anyone personally insulted you did they? After a while it just became a conflict between two mostly. Take care and take care of that snake.

i was merely using how I would be scared to post again as an adjective to describe the craziness of this whole ordeal!!!! I didnt take anything personally... I was really just commenting on the overall situation! so no worries!

you will all get to see candy grow up!

YAAAAAAYYY!!..LOL!

Yeah, between you finding that T-plus, and Joe M. finding his amel Eastern, The Eastern's seem to have a very cool morph future ahead if all goes well!
