My girl finally had her litter! She had 19 beautiful babies and only 1 slug, a remarkable first breeding!

Here are pics!

Congrats on your first litter. Now you have the bug and won't be able to quit. We can feel your excitement as if our first was today. It never changes. The next litter is always just as exciting. They look like nice healthy babies. Did you keep records at all? Lots of times females will have their litters in the same amount of days as prior litters. Keep up the good work. It looks like she did a great job. How is mom doing? What was the pairing?

Mom is a little angry and very hungry. She has never ever been cage defensive before and believe me I scrubbed her cage down for an hour getting rid of every bit of scent I could. She now sits in her hide and strike at any movement. I fed her a large rat to get her started. She did eat small/medium rats every other week during her gestation period up till 2 weeks before they were born so I am sure that helped. Next week I ll give her the XXL rats she has been used to. Both of the parents are normals and all the babies are in shed now, they are adorable and quite friendly little buggers, not a single strike at me ...... YET!
