Paint update !

Coldthumb Jul 05, 2010 09:12 PM

Alright my first clutch of the year has hatched, shed, and fed now.So it's time to show some pics!

Here she is,the first Yellowbelly Super Paint!

,and alongside regular super Paint sibling.

There is definitely alot more white on her than the regular super Paint already has,and her dorsal striping is different..Plus they lighten up as they age,so i'm really curious to see what she turns out like by 1kg or so!

The lighting really sucks here, but it shows what she was up to while i was trying to get some snapshots!
YouTube - This one has an attitude!

Some nice Painted Yellowbellys from the clutch.

Here are more of those pictures.

..ohh and, here ya go...These were taken in 2008 (Paint x Paint)

...and finally, now that the first combo super is here,i have to make good on my promise to show Mama Paint once i've created a combo...,and as you can see it not simply granite..When talking to local buddies before i hatched any supers out i actually called them "wet paints" (which won out over "smudgies".lol)

Thanks

Cool stuff there Charles! If I were you I would be trying to get Sable, Black Pastel and Mystic /Phantom into that Paint line of yours ASAP ! Makes me wonder what a Super Sable Paintball will look like! A few other things come to mind but you get my drift I'm sure already!

hey Thanks Anthony,..and yeah, there's so many directions to go with it..I'm particularly curious to see how the super will react with some of the other genes with partial white to them.

Great snakes, great project, great photography!

You might be a ball python fanatic if you subconsciously convert the price of virtually everything in to units of piebald ball pythons

Those last two painted yellowbellies look similar to my captive hatched yellowbelly. Maybe I'll luck out and he'll have paint blood in him!

Awesome snakes.

Hi Charles, those are very cool. I agree with Anthony but would also add in Chocolates and Lessers/ Butters .... I think a Super Paint/ Super Choc and a Super Paint/ Lesser (or Butter) would both be killer combos.

cheers, John
