So I'm having trouble figuring out if my red tail is a c.a or a Nicaraguan boa. Can't put up pix cause I'm using my Droid to post but here's my flickr link to my boa

Nic is short for Nicaraguan. Nics are from/originate from Nicaragua. Nicaragua is in Central America, so Nic is a CA locality type. Nic and CA are the same. All Nics are Central American, but not all Central Americans are Nics.
There are other CA localities. Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Hog Island (Honduras), El Salvador (Blood Boa), some Mexican localities.
All Central American boas belong to the Common Boa subspecies - Boa constrictor imperitor, or Bci.
Yours is definitely a CA of some sort, Probably pure Nicaraguan or a mix.

Hey sorry for the late reply and tnx for the info. So to you he looks like a pure nic or something close to it? But how can you tell if its pure?
