Took my son and his friend for a hike in a local canyon and came across a pair of Southern Pacific Pond Turtles and a 30" Southern Pacific Rattlesnake...pretty dark too.
And a really cool dragonfly that we had to get a picture of.

The turtles are always a very cool find and those SPR's are very dark. Nice shots.
